Was out for a trail check last evening and around town things are getting very thin, 514 will be closed as one beaver dam is opened and flowing plus Portage River ice/snow bridge is gone(see photo). 52 North is in pretty good shape from the Barren shelter up but with another warm day today and…

Looking at the long-range forecast doesn’t make a snowmobiler happy, not sure what will be left by next week. Doesn’t look like any window of opportunity for grooming until next week, so I guess we wait and see, it just feels too early to have to stop grooming. Be careful if you do venture out…

It will be very interesting to see how the trails hold up over the next few days. These high temperatures will no doubt play havoc with the trails with water laying on the trail and holes starting to appear, if you venture out please keep this in mind. So I guess we just wait it…
