Well folks things got very real yesterday with the implementation of a State of Emergency, I see most of the lodges will be closed, some will have gas but nothing else, so it is very important that you call ahead and make sure you can get fuel if you do venture out, we don’t need a bunch of silly snowmobilers stuck in the middle of nowhere needing to be rescued. Yesterday the 2009 BR180 groomed 517 from Sunny Corner and 52 North to 512, down the 512 and back to 52 then home to North Shore. Last night Allain groomed all Southside trails 52 North and South, 21, 510 and 511. Not sure what the future brings to the snowmobiling industry, we will have to wait and see how all this unfolds in the coming days, please be responsible and follow the government directives.
