February 5th, 2019 -5º Yesterday Alan with the help of the City of Miramichi managed to get trail 511 to the Rodd opened yesterday, thanks to both parties for their efforts in getting this done. Alan also groomed trail 21 to 52 South, out to Barnaby and back to the Miramichi Bridge. He also went back to 511 with the drag to clean things up. Yesterday Jamie groomed all Newcastle trails plus 515, 521 and 522. Hopefully with this warm weather we can get a machine inside to do some oil changes and greasing. We had a great meeting last night, it was brought to our attention that we have received only 225 tickets back so far for our fundraiser, we sent out approximately 2500 tickets to our members, so as you can see not a very good return thus far, so come on folks we can do better, this money is put to great use in keeping things running and keeping the trails in good shape, the formula is simple, no $$$ = no trail grooming, so please make every effort to return your tickets. So far this season we have logged 730 hours grooming, if this keeps up we will have a record year for grooming hours. Get Out and Enjoy Your Trails.
